9 Beaches

My wife and I just returned from 9 Beaches and it was super!
9 Beaches is great! Nice fun rooms, a bit adult camp style...but hey I grew up going to bungalows on the Jersey shore..so it broght back many fond memories anyway!

Really good snorkeling right off of their property and a wreck swimable across the channel...
watch out for jet skis!

The staff are extremely helpful though somewhat innudated at times with requests from large groups when weddings are taking place.

I enjoyed it so much I burned double mileage so we could already book our return trip at the end of the summer.

The only two major shortcomings are:
1) it is FAR from everything else on Bermuda, such as the other great beaches, grocery stores, Hamilton resturants and shops, etc..rent a moped! they're fun and realtively safe...
2) for vegetarians, which we both are, the on premises restaurant vegetarian offerings are NON EXISTENT! I mean NONE..no Boca Burgers, vege hot dogs ..nothing...French Fries...at the main restaurant the only offerings are mozzarella sticks (Deep Fried) and pasta which are both listed on the Comfort Food page..I knew the chip was Great Britan's contribution to world cuisine, but come on already..9 Beaches used to be an Ecco resort...you'd think at least one other vegetarian stayed there..
that being said it still is a wonderful trip and if veg is not a problem for you it may be the perfect 2 hour from NYC getaway.....closer than the Hamptons on a busy friday!
